Lagos Sports Commission DG, Gafaar Tasks Kith & Kin Students To Focus On Education And Sports

The Director General, Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr. Oluwatoyin Gafaar has enjoined the students of Kith and Kin International College, Owode Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, to see their education as a priority while at the same time see how they can develop their sporting talents.

Gafaar was the Chairman of the annual Inter House Sports Championship and 25th anniversary of the school which was held on Wednesday.

According to Gafaar, combining education and sports would give the students a bright and dependable future, adding that as they are excelling in their choosing sporting career, they should ensure that they are serious in their academic pursuits.

He urges the students to be good ambassadors of their different homes and strived at all times to make the school proud.

The Director General was at the Ayangburen Primary School also in Ikorodu where he honoured the invitation to attend the school’s inter house sports. The pupils and the teachers were delighted to see a high profile sports administrator in Lagos State in their midst.
