Sports Minister Praises Madestone Academy Coach For Developing Young Footballers

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare has commended coaching crew of Madestone Football Academy led by Olubiyi Oluwatobiloba for his commitment towards development of young players not only in Ibadan but Oyo state at large.

 He disclosed this when Oluwatobiloba who doubles as CEO of Madestone Football Academy held a meeting with sports minister recently in Ibadan to discuss several issues related to football and its development in Nigeria especially at the grassroots level. 

The Minister was impressed with the activities of Madestone Football Academy of Ibadan and particularly lauded the efforts of the Head Coach Mr. Olubiyi Oluwatobiloba who despite his competitive coaching qualifications and experience in the game decided to channel his expertise towards development of young players who he hopes will one day represent the National Team at various age cadre.

He however assured Madestonesports of the sports ministry support especially on grassroots football development.

In his response, Oluwatobiloba who is a UEFA C licensed coach from the English FA, used the opportunity to commend the Minister on his achievements since his appointment. He laid emphasis on the recent renovation of some abandoned football stadiums in several states of the country which he believes positively improved grassroots football in the country.

The minister encouraged Oluwatobiloba to keep up the good work towards and remained steadfast on the development of footballers for the future.
