Ekwunife Salutes Obi Of Onitsha At 81

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, has felicitated with the Obi of Onitsha, HRM Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, CFR, Agbogidi, as he marked his 81st Birthday.

Senator Ekwunife joined family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate Igwe Achebe, describing him as one of Nigeria’s most outstanding promoters of peace, justice and unity.

“The reign and disposition of Igwe Achebe embodies the role of the traditional institution as a platform for not only advancing socio-cultural growth but driving economic development, considering the selfless services and demonstration of true and excellent leadership the monarch has exhibited over the years.”

The 2021 Sun Humanitarian Service Icon of the Year Award Recipient further appreciated Igwe Achebe for his commitment towards poverty alleviation, healthcare development, education and security, and commended him for his overall contributions to humanity.

Senator Ekwunife on behalf of her family and the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District wished the respected monarch a happy birthday celebration and prayed God to grant him many more years of good health.
