Alaska Football Club, formerly Alaska Football Academy, is one of the few soccer outfits in Nigeria that parade players with talent, discipline and potentials to take their game to the next level.
With their base in Oshogbo, the capital city of Osun State, Alaska FC, owned by a seasoned soccer Administrator, Abidoye Musibau Ajibola have never lived short of the expectations of their fans. Recent outings of the team showed records of victories and showmanship expected of a vibrant grassroots Football club of their kind.
Speaking with P.M. EXPRESS, Abidoye said that the club was formerly a football academy, but the name and the operation of the outfit were changed to a full fledged football club by the reason of the management’s decision to take Alaska FC to the next level.

“The club have been repositioned to a modern football team with recruitment of quality players who are equally hungry for fame. Our metamorphosis from an academy to a football club was a promotion for us,” he said.
Abidoye said that he is looking forward to seeing Alaska FC rubbing shoulders with elite football clubs in the Nigerian football very soon, adding that the beauty of managing a football club is to see his players getting offers across the world.

He said: “We have opened our doors for football agents for them to take a look at what we are doing at Alaska FC. We want football agents to take up our players for trials abroad. We know the potentials of our young players that they can fit in anywhere they get the opportunities.
.”We want trusted agents who can fix our players in the European leagues, the leagues in the Asian countries even leagues in some of the good football playing nations in Africa.

“We are also looking for partnerships to put the club in the world football limelight. Football is a big business and we are ready to do the business at Alaska FC. The partnerships we are looking for will be the one that will be beneficial to us, and most especially, our young players, who in turn will extend the blessings to their parents and families.”
