Hon. Kasunmu Collects INEC Form, Thanks Party Stakeholders

The winner of the APC Primary election for Ikeja Constituency 2, Lagos State House of Assembly. Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), has collected the Independent Electoral Commission’s (INEC) form from the Party Secretariat. 

The INEC form is usually given to the authentic candidate of a party, who has been affirmed as the flag bearer of the party for a particular elective post after the primary election contest.

Hon. Kasunmu, who is a returning legislator, having won similar election in 2015 and 2019, collected the form in company of other confirmed House of Assembly candidates from other Constituencies at the APC State Secretariat on ACME Road, Ogba, Lagos.

Speaking briefly with the Press after collecting the form from the State Party Chairman, Hon Cornelius  Ojelabi, Hon. ARK expressed appreciation to the Leadership, delegates, officers and members of APC in Ikeja Constituency 2 for their support, love and selfless efforts in the just concluded primaries.

It will be recalled that Hon. Kasunmu garnered a total of 20 out of 25 Delegates votes to emerge victorious in the contest for Ikeja Constituency 2 APC ticket two weeks ago.

Also present at the State Party Secretariat during the form presentation was APC Chairman, Ikeja LGA, Alhaji Adekunle Dally-Adeokun, who is also the Chairman of all Party LGA Chairmen in Lagos State, 

Alhaji Adeokun heartily congratulated Hon. Kasunmu on his victory and admonished him to carry all stakeholders along as the General election approaches. 

The well respected leader also seized the opportunity to appeal to all party members to join hands together to ensure the success of APC in the forthcoming general elections starting with mobilisation of people for the ongoing PVC registration.

The State Party Chairman, Hon. Ojelabi, seized the opportunity to once again congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Lagos APC on the historic emergence of the Jagaban as the Presidential Candidate of the party.
