It Was An Easy Penetration – Says Man, 51 Nabbed Over S*x With Girl, 12

A 51-year old man, Wilfred Uko, who was nabbed for allegedly engaging a 12-year old girl in sex, has told the Police in Lagos that the girl was already having sex before he engaged her because it was an easy penetration while it lasted.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the alleged defilement took place at Tobani Bakari Palmpay Estate, Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos State, where they reside. 
The suspect, Wilfred, allegedly lured the girl into his apartment, confused her with words of mouth, fondled her breasts and eventually engaged her in the sex romp.

However, he was nabbed after the girl leaked what happened and he was handed over to the Police in the area. He was later transferred to the SCID, Yaba, for further investigation over the alleged dastardly act.

During interrogation, he did not deny the fact that he knew the girl and he reportedly admitted before the Police to have done so with the girl’s consent but the victim is still a minor. 

However, the Police found him culpable and subsequently charged him before Yaba Magistrate Court for defilement, which attracts several years of imprisonment if found guilty.

When he was arraigned, the Court did not take his plea following a motion moved by the prosecutor,  Supol Thomas Nurudeen, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice since the victim is still a minor. 

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, ordered his remand in the Correctional Centre pending when the DPP’s report will be ready and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP. 

The matter was adjourned pending when the DPP’s advice will be ready, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
