How Top Nigerian Musician, Oriola Daniel Lost N9m Rolex Watch At Home

This may not the best of times for a top Nigerian musician,  Oriola Taofeek Daniel, since he lost his treasured N9m worth Rolex watch to thieves in his home in Ikotun area of Lagos State. 
 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened since April, 2022, at Town Dada Femi area of Ikotun, Lagos, where Daniel resides.
He was said to have lost the Rolex Oyster perpetual date adjust 41 Chronometer, which he bought abroad, after his friends visited him, he entertained them and they left. He later went where he kept the watch but did not find it any longer and since then he has been in sad mood. He was to have pleaded with those friends to return the watch to him but none agreed to have seen the watch.
The matter was reported to the Commissioner of Police and a team of detectives was dispatched to investigate and recover the watch. So far, three of of his friends suspected have stolen the watch have been arrested.
The first two suspects, Yetunde Awaye, 37 and Afisu Mohammed, 41, were earlier arrested and charged to Court before the third person, Ibrahim Moshood, 35, was later caught and arraigned at the same Court, while others were said to be at large.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found them culpable and subsequently charged them before the Ogba Magistrates Court for conspiracy and stealing.
They pleaded not guilty when they were arraigned.
The prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they have pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.
The Court granted Awaye and Mohammed bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum, while Moshood was granted bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
They remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre, Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when they will perfect their bail conditions while the matter was pushed to 28th August, 2022, where the matter was expected to be merged for trial.
