Posted on September 6, 2022

In his resolve to thoroughly revamp all the Seven (7) Primary Health Centers (PHCs) in Ojodu LCDA and improve service deliveries, the Executive Chairman, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, has provided solar power supply system for Gbadamosi PHC Ojodu (a 24hr Health Centre), Apata PHC & Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Centre, Ogba Oluwole.

According to the Council Mayor, “Reliance on the National Grid for power supply is no more sustainable, particularly in the face of the harsh economic realities. Therefore, we owe it as a sacrosanct duty to ensure the wellbeing of our people at all times, going by the mantra ‘Health is Wealth’. This move is one of the measures put in place to ensure 24hours service deliveries at all the PHCs in the LCDA”.

Since the inception of the administration, series of people-oriented activities had been carried out through the HEYS (Health, Education, Youth empowerment and Social Infrastructure) mantra, that is in consonance with the THEMES Agenda of the Lagos State Government.

In the same vein, Odunmbaku recently procured a new ambulance to complement health service delivery and save lives during emergency.

Odunmbaku promised not to rest on his oars as more projects and initiatives are still in pipeline for the benefit of the good citizens of the LCDA.

Similarly, the Council Mayor played host to emissaries from the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the early hours of Tuesday 30th August, 2022. The monitoring team of the Ministry, which eulogised Odunmbaku for embarking on various developmental projects, also admonished the present administration to always ensure due process and transparency in all dealings and activities for the betterment of the citizens and implored all stakeholders to continue supporting him in achieving all the giant strides mapped out by his administration.
