Boxing: Fans Thumb-Up Organizers Of “Rumble In Lagos”

Fans of professional boxing have applauded organizers of the recently held “Rumble In Lagos” at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos State.

A total of 15 professional bouts were decided with two international bouts.

The event was put together by Saleh Gloves Promotion in conjunction EZ Boxing, with the support of Bliu Media.

Some of the enthusiastic fans, who spoke with our correspondent after the event said they were highly impressed with the organization. An enthusiast, Karen Egbo said the atmosphere at the venue of the event was electrifying and she wants more.

For Kunle Oluwashina, an ex amateur boxer, he praised the organizers for ensuring that security in and around the venue of the event was well coordinated.

According to him “Kudos most go to the organizers for putting up a good boxing show like this, we actually need more of what the promoters have done.

A sports journalist, Taiwo Adelu said he was thrilled with what he saw on the day and advised the crew to up the ante at the next edition coming up in December.
