Nobody Loves Nigeria!

We all are deeply rooted in our ethnic and religious affiliations. There is really a convoluted definition of the true oppressors, as they change cloak, tongue and stand, we change with them yet their actual intentions are lost on us.
My fears:
A new Nigeria is springing up in our time where “wotowoto” is the acceptable way to engage dissent. Meanwhile wotowoto is the new name for cyber bullying. On the physical space, it is similar to the menacing treatment given to “saboteurs” who more often than not pay the ultimate price just for disagreeing.
While the excitement is valid, the frustrations we fear cannot be solved through quick fixes; especially for a generation that is largely epicurean and given to “soft life”.
The awakening is lovely. It is a good antithesis with unpredictable synthesis as many of us cannot play the waiting game or bear the painful sacrifice that births the kind of Nation we all aspire to live in. Whatever it is, History must be made.
