Demolition – Soludo Needs To Do More!
Posted on October 15, 2022

While we reckon that a lot is wrong with our Society, what many of us do not see or deliberately refuse to see is our individual role in entrenching the many ills that now huant our shared good. A whole lot of times, we project pecuniary benefits as the sole purpose of our actions, whilst talks about its sustainability are often not deemed necessary. This is why we blame God, Government and others when the consequences of such actions come knocking.
I guess it was the realization of our complicit roles in the pervading lawlessness and anyhowness that inspired Governor Soludo’s inclusion of restoring “Law and Order” into his Manifesto.

Anambra is blessed with sane minds, who live and prosper in planned and organized cities outside the homeland. Yet, the State’s major conurbations are evolving into slums, with little or no regards to town planning rules.
From Onitsha to Awka; Nnewi to Ekwulobia; Oko to Umunze, a State with the highest number of Millionaires per square metre is encumbered by urban degeneration.

If shame was a thing, the people should understand that there is little to be proud of in how we have abused the outlook of our homeland. Ndi Anambra should do better and support every action that will set the State free from dereliction. This would certainly come at personal costs that will ultimately guarantee our collective survival.
