Anambra: Now That The Windows Are Shut — See Who Is Crying
Posted on October 24, 2022

We are coming from a system where none Keke riders are the Leaders of “Keke Unions”. A system, where public wealth is frittered into private hands through destructive revenue “windows” that tend to empower a few leaving behind colossal infrastructural deficits — bad roads, schools without teachers, hospitals without Doctors/Nurses, rise in ferocious revenue collectors with criminal tendencies (Ndi Agbero).
Of course a few people, like some rebellious Israelites, are asking Moses (Soludo) to take them back to Egypt (the old order). Sadly, the man in question — Soludo — is resolved. Like the promised land, which like Moses he may not see, he is convinced that a Liveable and prosperous homeland cannot come without huge sacrifices and responsibility sharing between the people and government.
Margret Thatcher has left us with the reassurance that “when a Society is sick, you do not give it what it wants, but what it needs”. Note, the Poor is not crying, no. It is the unwholesomely rich that is crying so loud in the face of a new order that threatens their criminal livelihood.
Wherever you see “Solution is here”, please know “your tax is at work”.
Pay your Tax! Government no be magician!
