Aboh Mbaise, Ngor Okpala LGAs Declare Support For APC Amid Pomp & Pageantry

The atmosphere at the Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area headquarters at Aboh was very impressive and encouraging as the APC members and supporters demonstratively expressed their enthusiasm and readiness to give their unalloyed support to the party.
Welcoming the State Executive Committee of the party led by Hon Macdonald Ebere, PhD, to the Town Hall Meeting, the Sole Administrator of Aboh Mbaise, Dr (Sir) Tony Awusaka, was very elated as he described the event as actually epoch making and remarkable.

According to him, “I am elated, we are all happy that the leaders of APC of Imo State are with us. You can see the crowd, you can see massive following. This is a mark of the fact that Aboh Mbaise is now APC. Our assurance is, Aboh Mbaise will give APC 100 % vote in the 2023 general elections. We, once more, welcome you to Aboh Mbaise”.

Elegantly balanced and fully taking charge, the Sole Administrator of the Council, Barrister Ogechi Njoku Ehirim, noted that Aboh Mbaise was in all ramifications an APC abode as the people had realized the truth from falsehood.

In her words, “My State Chairman, Sir MacDonald Ebere, and all our leaders and elders, I can tell you that what you are seeing here is a tip of the iceberg. Give us motivation and working tools and we shall do wonders. I am saying, do a little more for us and Aboh Mbaise will collapse totally into APC”.

“To start with, we sincerely thank our action Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, for the wonderful works he has been doing for us here in Aboh Mbaise. He is rehabilitating the Owerri – Mbaise – Obowo Federal Road. It is massive. The School of Midwifery is being accredited for an upgrade to College of Nursing Sciences. Equally, the General Hospital is under renovation. These are the wonderful jobs the governor is doing for us and we appreciate him. In view of this, therefore, on behalf of Aboh Mbaise people, we are declaring our unalloyed dedication, support and allegiance to Governor Uzodimma and APC for the 2023 general elections.”

Acknowledging cheers from the audience, the APC candidate for the Aboh Mbaise – Ngor Okpala Federal House of Representatives, Engr. Ifeanyi Akwutti, after commending the governor for his massive infrastructural development for Aboh Mbaise, equally called on him to urgently fix the now grossly dilapidated Mbano – Ahiazu – Aboh – Ezinihitte – Ngor Okpala Road. He also appealed the Governor to immediately employ teachers for both the Primary and Secondary Schools in the council.

“The moment the Governor accomplishes these two problems for us, I tell you, we shall use them as campaign issues and Aboh Mbaise will be APC all through”, he remarked.

A leader of the party in the LGA, Chief Charles Ogu, described the meeting as successful and was full of praises for the governor in view of his wonderful jobs and noted that Aboh Mbaise was henceforth APC.

It was at this juncture that State Party Chairman, Ebere, informed the gathering the essence of the town hall meeting.
He said, “It was pertinent for the party in the state with Governor Uzodimma as the leader, to understand how you are doing. We are here for you to tell us what problems you are having – and you have mentioned them – we shall take them to the governor”.

“Again, we are also here in preparation for the 2023 general elections. It is imperative that we must be united and work together for the success of APC in all its ramifications. This is a time to work day and night for the party so that success will be achieved. We must avoid division and move ahead for electoral victory in 2023.”

Among other leaders who attended the town hall meeting included Commissioner of Homeland Security, Dr Ugorji Ugorji, former IMC chairman, Emma Njoku, Hon. Tinana Biaduo, Chief Alex Amadi, Ezinne Benedine Mgbeahuruike the Aboh Mbaise woman leader; Placid Njoku, the Chairman of Presidents General; Hon Ike Victoria, Julian Ogu and Nze Ohaneche Uchenna.
Storming Ngor Okpala and heading straight for the Local Government Area’s headquarters at Umuneke, the State delegation met an enthusiastic large crowd of APC members.
Very beautiful and colourful in their respective community’s and support group’s uniforms, the Ngor Okpala LGA APC community looked highly organized, purposeful and turbo – charged. They joyfully responded to all the gyrations of party leaders and elders.
Ebere, in his address, commended the leadership of the party in Ngor Okpala for holding fort in peaceful manner.
“We came here to cheer you up. First, the leaders. Ngor Okpala has a crop of leaders who can deliver. Ngor Okpala APC leaders have capacity. And Ngor Okpala also have massive following.”
“Let us be together and vote in one line. You must vote for APC candidates in House of Assembly, Obinna Egu; Ifeanyi Akwutti, for House of Representatives; Prince Alex Mbata for Senate as well as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President to make it four – over – four. In all, we must be our brothers’ keepers”, he advised.
The Sole Administrator, Hon Theo Ihediuba, in his remarks, thanked the state leadership of the party for the historic visit. He thanked Governor Uzodimma for always putting Ngor Okpala LGA into consideration for strategic appointments both in the government and party. He prayed that the governor do his best to reconstruct some of the collapse road infrastructure in the area.
In his address, the APC Chairman in the Council, Engr. Jude Ukegbu, promised that Ngor Okpala would give APC total support in the forth coming elections.
Hon. Obinna Egu, the APC candidate for Ngor Okpala State Constituency called for peace in order to ensure victory for the party.
Okenze Obinna, while thanking the Governor, called on him to fix the bad roads in the area as well as provide stomach infrastructure.
High Chief TOE Ekechi pledged that things would be better for Ngor Okpala henceforth. “Take it from me, things will be better”.
The Commissioner of Science and Technology, Prof B. G. Nwogu, asked the the people to always stand by Governor Uzodimma and work for the victory of APC in future elections.
Barrister Enyinnaya Onuegbu, the Chief Political Adviser to the Governor, said Ngor Okpala has been fairing better under the APC government of Governor Hope Uzodimma. He noted the governor would look into the problems as highlighted by the party members and called on them to vote APC in all levels of the 2023 general elections.
