Goals Galore, As BSSA Mock World Cup Hots Up

Action continued last weekend, at the First Bank Sports Complex, Satellite Town, Lagos State as the Bright Stars Sports Academy (BSSA)’s Mock World Cup enters Day 2.

The Mock World Cup is an initiative by the Management of the Sports Academy for students to have a buzz of the ongoing senior World Cup holding in Qatar.

According to a statement from the President of the Academy, Franklin Ibojo a total of 40 goals were recorded on Match Day 1.

Amongst results made available in the Under -13 category, Brazil pipped England 1-0. The score line between Argentina and Senegal was 6-2, Brazil defeated Qatar 3-0 both in the Under-10 category. Argentina walloped France 6-1 in the Under-17 category. While in the Under -8, Senegal were humbled 5-1 by Brazil. Qatar defeated England 3-2.

Meanwhile, the Management has said all rules and regulations guiding the game will be strictly adhered to, stressing that any erring student will be dealt with accordingly.
