Ibeju-Lekki League Kicks Off With 24 Teams

24 teams are expected to take part in Ibeju-Lekki League play off which kicks off tomorrow (Saturday) at the five centres

The league which is organised by Ibeju-Lekki Football Coaches Council would play on home and away format.

In the fixtures released by the organisers, two matches would be played on Saturday as infinity would battle Success FC, while Young Star face Real United.The two matches would be played at the Lekki center.

Action resumes on Sunday as Ibeju Agbe Royal tackle Sterfield, while Bright Star confront My people FC at Awoyaya center.

Leader of Ibeju-Lekki Football Coaches Council, Victor Akinmoyo said all the teams are ready for the league and urged the club owners and coaches to shun violence throughout the league

“The league is talk of the town in Ibeju-Lekki and environs and i am happy that all the participating teams are looking forward to the league and i wish all the teams all the best,”he said.

Akinmoyo said during his own tenure as a leader of Ibeju-Lekki Football Coaches Council, he would implement many developmental programmes that would be of benefits to his council members.
