Orlu Senatorial District: Ohaji/Egbema Collapses For Labour Party’s Candidate, Chief Charles Ahize Ahead Of February 25 Election

Yesterday, was yet another mind blowing political rally as the entire Ohaji/Egbema LGA, her leadership, members of the Obi-dient family, Labour Party faithful, different support groups and true believers of the Presidential ambition of Mr. Peter Obi and senatorial aspiration of Chief Charles Ahize, under Labour Party, practically shutdown their businesses and closed their popular markets just to accord warm reception to the rave of the moment and frontline LP candidate for Orlu Senatorial Zone, Charles Ahize. To keen observers, it was more than a political rally, but a grand reception turned triumphant entry as the signs of victory and of his emergence becomes more clearer as we count down to the Saturday, February 25, 2023 general elections, barley 9 days away! Any doubting Thomases should leave Owerri and verify from the communities in Orlu zone.

A highly energetic, motivated, dynamic and cerebral Orlu senatorial hopeful, Charles Ugochukwu Ahize-Chukwu, was accompanied to the oil-rich kingdom alongside the retinue of his colourful entourage led by the duo of Dr. C. C. Ubah and Dr. Batos Nwadike; where a town hall meeting with critical leaders and stakeholders of Ohaji/Egbema was held as they presented their challenges to the Orlu incoming – Senator, Chief Charles Ahize, for consideration and subsequent intervention after his inauguration on May 29, 2023, by the grace of God.

Speaking during the political parley with the leadership of  Ohaji/Egbema, Labour Party LGA Chairman, Hon. Chijioke Oshimmiri, who received the Orlu Senatorial hopeful, Chief Charles Ahize, gave the leaders assurances of Chief Charles Ahize’s robust, effective, inclusive and people-oriented  representation if elected into office, maintaining that he is a developmental – driven politician who has the courage, goodwill , social contacts and strong character to recover Orlu and put it on the path of accelerated development through timely legislations; practical youths empowerment , wealth creation and restoration of the elusive peace in the area.

Presenting his principal; the rave of the moment and Labour Party frontline senatorial candidate, Chief Charles Ahize, Spokesman of the campaign organization, Dr. Batos Nwadike (Oyi of Igboland), told his audience that he brought a good market that sells itself. A man whose name is synonymous with durability in the automobile industry in Nigeria, a man whose name rings bell and opens many doors of opportunity; and not a push over that will go to the National Assembly to change Nigeria’s anthem.

Chief Charles Ahize, whose political mantra centers on Orlu Recovery, promised to change the ugly narrative of the representation approach in Orlu Senatorial zone by setting a new agenda where the children of the poor will also enjoy the dividends of democracy from our common patrimony by dint of hard work and dedication as a level playing ground will be created for the youths of Ohaji/Egbema in whose communities oil companies are operating.

Advising them to vote massively for Labour Party on Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Orlu Senatorial hopeful, Chief Charles Ahize, urged them to look very closely at the logo of Labour Party, which has Papa, Mama and Pikin as its symbol and  thumbprint there for the victory of Peter Obi for President, Charles Ahize for Senator Orlu zone, Hon. Collins Illo for House of Representatives and other candidates standing in for election under Labour Party; as that is the only way to go for the New Nigeria we earnestly crave for.

According to Comrade Clifford Ogbuehi, a respected youth leader in Ohaji/Egbema and powerful grassroots political mobilizer, Chief  Charles Ahize of Labour Party has warmed his way into the hearts of our people and established his presence very strongly in our communities by the road maintenance and repairs he embarked on at personal cost when others were merely playing politics with our dilapidated roads by speaking their Queen’s English with misleading Television political promises.

“Our people have taken a stand to massively vote for Charles Ahize of Labour Party and not even one vote will drop on the election day,” Comr. Clifford assured his audience.

With the heartwarming organic support, grassroots appeal, massive solidarity and unflinching loyalty in Ohaji/Egbema LGA, just like in other Local Government areas across Orlu senatorial zone, one can confidently say that the dire is cast as we earnestly wait for the D- Day to pass a very strong message with our votes for Labour Party and all her candidates in the February 25, 2023 general elections.
