A 35-year old lady, Rasidat Ararape, has landed in trouble for allegedly displaying her boxing prowess by battering a man, Emmanuel Ebunoluwa and inflicted serious injury on him during a public brawl in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Oladoje Street, Oko-Oba area of Lagos, where they reside.
According to the Police, the suspect, Rasidat and Emmanuel had a disagreement, which led to physical fighting between them. During the brawl, Rasidat was said to have displayed some boxing skills, rained serious blows on Emmanuel and injured him in the process.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment as he wondered how she had the upper hand during the squabble and reported the matter to the Police at Abbatoir Division. Rasidat was arrested and detained at the station for the alleged assault and was found culpable for inflicting such injuries on the victim.
Hence she was charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence and she pleaded not guilty when she was arraigned.
The prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.
While the matter was going on in Court, the complainant informed the Court that he wanted to withdraw the case as the defendant has assured him that she will no longer threaten his life or assault him.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenije, then struck out the matter and discharged the defendant.
