A 30-year old lady, Miss Deborah Uzowara, has landed in trouble in Lagos State after she allegedly assaulted her landlord,  Bamidele Bashiru, tore his clothes and left him naked in public.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Michael Ojo Street, Isheri Oshun area of Lagos, where they reside.
The Police did not state the cause of the quarrel between them, which led Deborah to have allegedly assaulted the landlord in public in such a manner.
According to their neighbours, Deborah, who is still single, had a disagreement with Bashiru over an undisclosed matter and that led to exchange of hot words. In the process, Deborah reportedly assaulted and tore his clothes and left him naked.
The alleged assault was reported to the Police at Isheri Oshun Division and she was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over her conduct.
After thorough interrogation, the Police found her culpable and later charged her before the Ejigbo Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
She pleaded not guilty when she was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Mr. Oje Uagbale, did not object to her bail but asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Akokhia, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood.
The matter was adjourned while the defendant was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when she will perfect her bail conditions.
