Housewife Arrested For Attacking Husband’s 18-Year Old Lover In Public 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Jezco Filling Station located at Jakande Estate, Ejigbo area of Lagos.

The husband, Mr. Declan drove his Honda CRV with Miss Chibueze inside the vehicle to buy petrol. Unknown to him that the wife was trailing him, as soon as he parked, the wife  accosted him, dragged the supposed mistress, Chibueze, out of the vehicle, slapped and rained several blows on her and injured her in the process.

The victim was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment because of the injuries she sustained, which did not go down well with her husband, who felt that the wife embarrassed him  publicly.

He instructed the victim to go to the Police at Area D Command, Mushin and report the alleged assault. Upon her report, the Police arrested Rosemary and detained her for interrogation over her conduct.

During the interrogation, she did not show any remorse for the alleged offence and the Police subsequently charged her before the Isolo Magistrates Court for threat to life and assault on the victim.

She pleaded not guilty when she was arraigned.

The prosecutor, Inspector Oje Uagbale, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since she pleaded not guilty before the Court for the alleged offence to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Akokhia, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.

She was however, remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when she will perfect her bail conditions while the matter was adjourned till 24th April, 2023, for mention.

Meanwhile, the husband has reportedly sent message to her family that he was no longer interested in the marriage because of the embarrassment she had caused her repeatedly over women in the past.
