Man, 44, Faces Murder Charge For Twisting Rival’s Dick During Public Brawl

A 44-year old man, Usman Abubakar, has been arrested and charged for murder in Lagos State after he engaged his rival, Usman Ahmed, in a public brawl and in the process twisted his dick and he collapsed and died. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Olusanya Street, Agege area of Lagos.
According to the Police, the suspect had a disagreement with the deceased over an undisclosed business, which led to physical fighting between the duo.
In the course of the fight, the suspect, Abubakar, was said to have beat the late Ahmed, held his dick and then twisted it before he collapsed and became unconscious.
He was rushed to an undisclosed hospital for treatment but he died on the way and the corpse was deposited at mortuary while the alleged murder was reported to the Police at Isokoko Division.
The Police arrested the suspect, Abubakar and transferred him to the SCID, Yaba, for further investigation.
After thorough interrogation at the SCID, he was found culpable and then charged before the Yaba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
The Court did not take his plea when he was arraigned after the prosecutor, Supol Rita Momah, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice due to the nature of the matter, which punishment is death or life imprisonment.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Chief Adeola Olatunbosun, ordered his remand in the correctional center pending when the DPP’s report will be ready and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
