Posted on May 1, 2023

Victor Eboigbe, a political strategic thinker, is bringing something new to the political scene in Edo State.
His new political ideology, known as “Think Edo”, shall be unveiled to the people of Edo State, Nigeria as part of his Governorship bid.
This ideology is based on the principles of creativity, innovation, productivity, and humanity. The logic of this thinking was inspired by the Edo people’s long history of resilience, dynamism, and progressivism. To Victor Eboigbe, it is interesting to view politics as a vehicle of introducing creativity and progressive-thinking idea into governance. Thus, he intends to rely on this perspective while repositioning the focus of Edo State towards becoming a manufacturing state, a tech state, an engineering state, as well as a health service provider state.

The Paradigm shift Victor Eboigbe seeks to engender, is one that would enable him and his team to build  on the economic, social and cultural values that would help to turn the state’s economy around and provide a good welfare package for its citizens. This would be a step in the right direction.

Furthermore, to drive  Political creativity; Victor Eboigbe is quite aware of the fact that transitioning to a new model would require significant planning and resources to make it a reality,. In  this regard, his  intention is to build, support and collaborate with  the private sector, which is essential in driving innovation and creating employment opportunities in a state such as Edo. He sees these as an interesting proposition, and with the right planning and execution, Think Edo philosophy has the potential to transform the economic, political and social landscape of Edo State.
