I Feel Like Singing Soludo’s Praises Today

The Governor of Anambra State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, is taking BOLD, DARING and COURAGEOUS steps in road construction and other aspects of governance.
Today, I can say we have a Governor who is in charge. Solely and firmly in charge. You can feel his hand jealously wrapped around all sectors of his government with his leg firmly on the throttle of governance.
In my last article on the governor, I listed what he got right. THEY ARE:
1. He simplified the office of the governor and reduced the flamboyancy around it.
2. Neutralised the cabal that usually surround the seat of power. We have one Governor!
3. Made political appointment less attractive.
4. Adopted a cost-effective approach to governance.
………….
I only urge the public, relations and acquaintances of the present appointees to pile less pressure on these gentlemen and women, from the Commissioners to the least of the SAs and EAs. We should understand that they will never be as influential as their predecessors because, to the benefit of the Ndi Anambra, the Governor they elected is jealous with his constitutional powers. We pray he (the governor) rewards these appointees, particularly the ones who will shoulder this sacrifice to the very end.
To add, it is under Soludo’s government that we hustle 😁 bread with commissioners at Roban and freely exercise with them at Ekwueme square. This is a good thing!
Nwamgbafor ji si ike na oru. The work and road dualization you are doing at Y-Junction axis Okpuno excite me greatly. In advance, I feel sorry for my mechanic who will see less of me once that road is completed.
May Anambra succeed!
