Senator Adeola Mourns FCMB Founder, Otunba Subomi Balogun

The Chairman of Senate Committee on Finance and Ogun West Senator-elect, Senator Solomon Adeola, has expressed shock and sadness on the demise of Olori Omoba Otunba Michael Subomi Balogun, CON, Otunba Tunwase of Ijebuland and founder of FCMB at the age of 89.

 

In a condolence message to the family of the deceased business mogul, Senator Adeola regretted his loss at this time when his wealth of knowledge and experience is needed to guide the incoming administration in berthing a renewed hope for the nation adding that his immense contribution to national growth earned him the prestigious national honour of the Commander of the Order of Niger, CON.

 

“Otunba Subomi Balogun was a foremost Nigeria business magnate that built institutions and made men. He was a generous philanthropist, particularly in the health sector, ” the Senator stated.

 

Senator Adeola prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss of a patriarch.
