A 20-year old gate man, Samuel Maikasuw, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly engaging his boss’ 15-year old daughter in sex and Impregnating her.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Igbogbo area of Ikorodu, Lagos, where he was employed as security guard by the girl’s parents.
He has been arrested by Police operatives of the Lagos State Command for the alleged statutory rape and impregnating the girl.
The suspect, Maikasuw, who hails from Abaji in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was said to have lured the girl into the act and started sleeping with her, which eventually led to her being pregnant in the process.
He was arrested when an official of Advocate for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network informed the Police, who promptly acted, arrested and detained him at the Command for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
According to Police sources, the suspect, Maikasuw, was once caught molesting the girl in 2022 while working as a security man and was severely warned never to come near the teenager again.
However, unknown to the girl’s parents,  he continued sleeping with the victim despite the fact that she is still a minor in their absence, which eventually resulted into pregnancy.
The Police sources stated that he may likely be charged before the Court for statutory rape and may spend many years in prison custody but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police and subsequent arraignment in Court.
