A 29-year old housemaid, Miss Oluwabunmi Ajayi, has landed in trouble in Lagos State for allegedly sexually abusing her boss’ 4-year old girl by licking her private part in order to satisfy her sexual desires.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Oluwabunmi, has been arrested and charged for the alleged sexual assault.
The incident happened at Magodo GRA, Isheri area of Lagos, where she was engaged as housemaid by the victim’s parents.
Apart from licking the girl’s private part, Miss Oluwabunmi was also alleged to have molested the victim by spitting on her private part in order to get it wet and enable her to insert her fingers into it  at different times before she was eventually caught.
According to the Police,  the suspect was employed as housemaid by the girl’s parents sometime in December, 2022, unknown to the parents that she had another thing in mind.
After she was employed, she was alleged to have started molesting the victim till 11th June, 2023, when she was caught in the act. But by then, she had seriously tempered with the victim’s private part.
She was handed over to the Police in the area and was later transferred to the Gender Section of the Command for interrogation over her unruly conduct.
After rounds of interrogation, the Police found her culpable and charged her before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence under Section 261of the Criminal code, which attracts several years of imprisonment.
The Court did not take her plea when she was arraigned following a motion moved by the prosecutor,  Supol Akeem Raji, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, ordered her remand in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.
The matter was adjourned till 24th July, 2023, for mention for the report of the DPP’s advice to be made available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
