2 Docked For Sneaking Into Hospital To Kill Patient Over Undisclosed Business Deal

Police detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, Lagos, have arrested two suspects, Saheed Musa, 28 and Obinna Onyema, 27, for allegedly sneaking into a specialist hospital in order to eliminate a patient, Adamu Makinta, over an undisclosed business transaction.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Doren Specialist Hospital located at Ajiwe Thomas Estate, Ajah area of Lagos.
What made the suspects to make attempts to kill the victim was not disclosed by the Police, who eventually apprehended them in the process over the dastardly act.
The operation failed as they were caught and handed over to the Police in the area before they were transferred to the SCID, Yaba, for interrogation over their alleged conduct.
After rounds of interrogation, the Police found them culpable and subsequently charged them before the Yaba Magistrate Court for conspiracy and attempted murder under the Criminal Laws of Lagos State.
However,  they pleaded not guilty when they were arraigned.
The prosecutor, Supol Thomas Nurudeen, asked the Court to give a date for hearing since they pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. P.E. Nwaka, granted them bail in the sum of N400,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and addresses verified by the Court.
The matter was adjourned till 11th September, 2023, for mention while the defendants were remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre pending when they will perfect their bail conditions.
