Man, 47, Sent To Prison For Sneaking Into Ex-Wife’s Apartment For S*x

A 47-year old man, Omoagbor Festus, have landed in trouble in Lagos State after he allegedly sneaked into the apartment of his ex-wife, Cecilia Omoagbor, for sex and he was apprehended. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the man, Festus, has been arrested for constituting nuisance by invading his ex-wife’s house and threatening to kill Cecilia over demand for sex.
The incident happened at Sulemon Street, Amule Bus Stop, Ayobo area of Lagos, where Cecilia resides.
According to Police, Festus got married to Cecilia some years ago and they had children but the marriage did not work. It was learnt that during the period they were living together,  it was constant quarrels and fighting between the two of them.
When Cecilia was unable to bear the shame and trauma of living with Festus without any peace of mind, she reportedly filed a suit before the Court for the dissolution of the marriage.
The Court heard both parties during the divorce suit and consequently dissolved the marriage.
They started living separately and it was then Festus realized that there was need to reconcile with Cecilia, which has now landed him in trouble.
He was said to have gone to her house and attempted to mend fences by trying to seduce her into sex, which she did not take lightly and raised alarm which attracted other neighbours.
The matter was reported to the Police at Ayobo Division. Festus was then arrested and detained at the station for interrogation for going to Cecilia’s house without invitation.
The Police found him culpable after rounds of interrogation and subsequently charged him before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence.
However,  he pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinleye Funmilola, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing since he pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.O. Hughes, granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum, who must show evidence of means of livelihood and addresses verified by the Court.
The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
