“This campaign is vetted through a transparent process and follows best practices as regards promotions regulation. “We have also made significant investments in logistics and, quite notably, advertising. Our distinctly creamy custard, Checkers Custard, was launched with our flagship Checkers Custard Vanilla, a product with a difference with its smooth consistency and natural-tasting flavour, which took the market by storm,” Checkers Africa boss explained.

“Other flavours followed suit like the Banana and the much-praised whole meal Milk Custard, Checkers Custard Milk 3-in-1, containing high-quality milk and sugar fortified with vitamins A and D. In 2022, we introduced another market-leading variant, Checkers Custard Chocolate 4-in-1, the Choco Custard. Currently, Checkers Custard comes in 18 varying SKUs across the four variants, and for all pocket sizes: 2kg, 1.5kg, 1kg and 400g jars; 1kg, 700g and 400g refill packs; 45g and 40g sachets,” he stated.
