Beside Herself With Rage

Why must she be blamed?
Suffered to bear brunt of man,
Spoiled, lavished, ravished, lashed to submission;
Mutilated, humiliated, castigated, denigrated
In Africa, Asia even Europe and Wild West,
Because she is woman
Is it wrong to be woman?
For every foolery, woe, calamity, failure even death of fragile man ruled by futilities, vain glory, greed, selfishness, machoism
She must be blamed because she is woman
Why must she be blamed and used like beast of burden?
Used like horse, donkey, dumped like trash in dustbin of abuse, maltreatment, rejection and despondency,
Even by penile culture and ethos of dark ages ruled by dying man in depth of damnation, extinction…
Why must she be blamed?
Because she is woman,
She is as helpless, hapless like mother hen
In daily rape by monstrous cock
She must be bullied, harassed and suppressed to submission
Because she is woman,
She must be demeaned, disrespected, abused, battered and raped,
She must be subjected to humiliation
Made to breed like rabbit
Turned to object of sex in captivity – gratifying mundane needs of proud and dying man…
Why must she be blamed?
Because she is woman,
She is useless, worthless, nobody
Says who?
Yet you relish her vagina and comfort
She gave birth to you, cooks for you
Gave you suck, love and cuddle
She will still care for you, marry you,
Toil for you, stand with you until she
Kisses red earth in embrace of timed mortality;
Why must she be mistreated, maltreated, marginalized, beaten black and blue, deprived of her right even right to live free as beautiful creature with heart of gold
Yet she is dumb in pain, soft, loving, caring, emotional … suffering, smiling trying to please ungrateful man…
Why must she be blamed?
Because she is woman
She must be vulnerable victim of war, rape, abuse, carnal man’s inclinations that grope
for revelry on plane surface of stupidity – deep in emptiness,
Is it wrong to be woman?
I did not create myself
I came for a purpose like helpmate
I bear all brunt like beast of burden
I love all, serve all like sacrificial lamb
I make the world glow with my glamour, warmth and passion
I am a treasure, precious jewel, priceless beauty, delightsome, bundle of goodness
I am kind to a fault,
Often taken for granted, dominated and humiliated,
I cried but it fell on deaf ears
Then my back was broken by final straw
Now I have risen in anger, rage of woman
For freedom, for liberty, for equality
Now, I must exhale to proclaim – enough is enough!
I am a woman, glorious woman – not a whore, not a slut,
I am woman of honour, mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt – not a slave,
I am paragon of beauty so adorable
I am not beast of burden, not masochistic, not slave of man,
I am not object of exploitation for man’s gratification,
Left to roast in merciless sunshine, in daily toil to please ungrateful wretches
I have learned your tricks, pranks, lies even mundane desires,
I will now move like hurricane, like tsunami to prey on you, roast you like meat, break your heart, pay you back in your own silly coin,
I will now stand and declare – I am a woman
Born free and bold!
Blame me no more oh, fragile man
Without me there will be no you…
I am innocent, I am pure
For long I have endured but now no more
Now, I will begin to resist you – my oppressors
I must reclaim and restore my glory
I am woman of honour
Born free, bold…and beautiful!
Yes! I am a woman!
Dedicated to all women on Earth
