Undoubtedly, Engr. Ben Akak has made very remarkable inroads in the area of philanthropy. His love for humanity is on a high scale and he has been empowering, inspiring and enabling people from far and wide to have a foothold on life and making their social conditions much more meaningful. His life trajectory presents a story of a rise from humble beginnings to great social and financial recognition. In his own words, ” I am very privileged because only few people can get to the level I have attained considering my humble family and the social background I come from”.

Engr Ben Akak is of the opinion that if Cross River State must move forward, the plight of the youths must be reconsidered and given a new social orientation. He said that Cross River State is blessed with an army of brilliant, exceptional, and talented youthful population and our ability to harness their potentials will in the long run, be to the greater glory and benefit of Cross River State.
He reiterated that the negative notion of pulling down each other must be immediately jettisoned. Ethnicity must give way to positive ideas and we must leverage on our diversity as a people. God, he noted, put all Cross Riverians together for his divine purpose. Adding that Cross Riverians must therefore leverage on what God has so richly blessed us with.
The Humanitarian Cum Philanthropist is always ready to leave no stone unturned wherever Cross River State is concerned.
May God Himself continue to raise trail blazers and pathfinders in Cross River State.
