TAMPAN Holds 2nd National Convention In Lagos, Unveils Logo

In preparations for the 2017 convention/retreat of Theatre and Motion Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) holding in Lagos on November 16 to 18, the association has unveiled the logo for the convention.
The host state of the 2017 convention/retreat will be Lagos State chapter of the association ably led by veteran dancer, artist and CEO of Gongbeat Nigeria Ltd, Otunba Debo Alexander.
The unveiling, which took place on October 4 in Ibadan, Oyo Statem was witnessed by the TAMPAN Board of Trustees and the media.
Speaking on the coming convention/retreat, the committee chairman, Mr Bolaji Amusan a.k.a Mr Latin said the 2017 convention/retreat will be a huge celebration and highly informative event.
The three day event will start with the opening ceremony/lecture at MUSON Centre on November 16 and will be chaired by erudite scholar Professor JP Clark with many notable Nigerians and lovers of arts in attendance.
On Day two, there will be seminar for all film producers/directors and actors belonging to the association, and followed by stage performance competition from all state chapters of TAMPAN.
Day three and final day of the event will be for general discussions, announcements and closing ceremony/awards.
The committee publicity director, Yomi Fash-Lanso further assured that the 2017 convention/retreat of the association will be used to further cement the ethics of the profession among all members and to promote values and morals throughout the nation.
The maiden edition of the convention/retreat of TAMPAN led by Omooba Dele Odule took place last year 2016 in Ilorin, Kwara State with the executive governor of the state Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed being the chief host and the state TAMPAN governor Alhaji Dan Kazim as host.
