Kolawole Bows Out Of Service Amid Pomp At ‘Pens down’ Ceremony Organised By Lagos Sports Commission

It was moment of celebration at the Mobolaji Johnson Centre, Rowe Park, Yaba, Lagos on Wednesday when the Management, Board and Staff of the Lagos State Sports Commission held a “Pens down” ceremony in honour of the Director, Sports Development of the Commission, Mr. Moses Olusegun Kolawole, to celebrate his retirement from Lagos State Civil Service

Mr. Kolawole bowed out of the Lagos State Civil Service after years of meritorious service, on his 60th birthday, having served as the Director School Sports before being posted to head Sports Development, Lagos State Sports Commission.

“DSD” as he is fondly called, being the acronym of his office, demonstrated the “can do” spirit in all his endeavours as a thoroughbred civil servant.

Members of staff of the Sports Commission described him as a selfless sports administrator, dutiful, diligent, dedicated and passionate about his duties.

He was also described as a man who deployed great strategies in the rejuvenation of sports development and who always kept his lieutenants on their toes for the purpose of achieving a better result.
