Busola Tejumola Elected Member of The Int’l Academy of Television Arts & Science

It is the organization behind the International Emmy Award, an accolade that signifies the highest level of achievement in the world of television.

Dr. Tejumola’s induction into this elite circle of media and entertainment luminaries is a testament to her immense influence and expertise in shaping the television landscape.

Dr. Tejumola’s appointment to the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences reflects her unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of television content, steadfast dedication to promoting cultural diversity, and her tireless efforts to showcase the very best in global television programming.

The appointment comes as MultiChoice’s Africa Magic channel which falls under Dr Tejumola’s purview turns 20 this year.

Over the past two decades, the channel has hit a lot of notable milestones. In recent years and under Dr Busola’s leadership, the channel has produced what is arguably the biggest film and television awards on the continent – The AMVCAs; the cultural phenomenon that is Big Brother Naija, and a host of other shows that continue to launch the careers of the country’s biggest stars.
