The Ozoemena family of Ichida town in Anaocha Local Government area, Anambra State, did the unthinkable after their son, Theophilus Ikechukwu, passed on and they chased away his wife, Vivian Chinwe and her three children, seized the deceased multi-million Naira property at Trade Fair Complex market in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that apart from locking up the late Theophilus shops in the market, they also carried the deceased’s safe containing Dollars, which its equivalent runs into millions of Naira, documents and properties cut across Lagos State.
The embittered widow was said to be squatting at an undisclosed church with her children, Chibuike,19, Chiamaka, f, 16 and Chidubem,13, for the past two years and the children had stopped going to school because there was no money to pay for their school fees after the family took over all the deceased property.
The worst aspect of the whole thing was that they secretly buried the deceased in an unknown place without the wife and children knowing and are now planning to do the proper burial without informing the wife and the children as well.
Narrating what happened, an embattled Mrs. Chinwe stated that she hails from Awka Etiti town in the same Anambra State and was married to her husband, the late Ikechukwu, for 19 years and had three children.
She stated that the marriage was peaceful and her late husband used her name to register his company at CAC, Abuja and used the initial of the children’s English names-AHF, with A standing for Augustine, H for Helen while F stands for Felix as their spare parts products brand name.
However, she explained that the marriage experienced crisis in 2019 after some members of the family conspired and asked her husband to send her away.
The family was said to have arranged and brought a maid to take care of her children which did not work out and her husband decided to reconcile with her in 2020. But the family members insisted that she will not be allowed to come back to the family.
While Chinwe and her late husband, Ikechukwu, were in the process of final reconciliation, he suddenly felt sick and died in the hospital in 2021 and the family hid the death from her and the children.
However, she got information and asked her husband’s sister about her husband. The sister asked her to go to the mortuary and see his corpse. At that point, she suspected foul play and probed to know what actually killed him.  The family was said to have buried him secretly, then confiscated his property, sent the wife and children away while alleging that she was the one that killed her husband.
For these past years, Chinwe and her children had been living on assistance from people. And through the assistance of well meaning Nigerians, she filed a suit before the Federal High Court in Lagos and the Court ordered that the shops should be opened for Chinwe for the welfare of her children.
Respite may have come the way of Vivian Chinwe Ozoemena and her three children on Monday following the order of the President of ASPAMDA at Trade Fair Complex, Hon. Ngozi Emechebe, who ordered for the reopening of the shops in line with the Court order and directed Chinwe to take possession.
The ASPAMDA boss, Emechebe, also directed that on no account will the association will be allowed to lock up the shops as they had previously done after the initial execution of the Court order.
The embattled widow, Chinwe, has taken possession of the shops but her worries remain that the family might eliminate her and the children as they had threatened in the past.. And she is therefore, pleading with well meaning Nigerians to come to her aid in order to save her and her children.
