How Police Foiled Attempts By Kidnappers To Abduct Female Student

Police operatives from Ikotun Division of the Lagos State Command have demonstrated capacity by foiling the abduction of a female secondary student and as well as arresting two suspects.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the two suspects, identified as Bolajoko Haruna and his female partner, Adamaka Chinyere, were arrested while their tinted Toyota Camry was impounded and recovered as exhibit at the station.
According to Police sources, the suspects have already lured the victim into their vehicle before the members of the community suspected their movement and immediately contacted the Police. The operatives moved into action, arrested the suspects and rescued the victim.
This was disclosed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed that two suspected kidnappers have been arrested by the Ikotun Police Division on Wednesday, 21st February 2024.
Through his X handle, he wrote:
 “Ikotun Police Division received information from community members about the presence of strange people moving around their neighbourhood suspiciously. The Police moved in discreetly, quickly enough to rescue a female secondary school student they had tricked into their car and abducted”.
“The suspects, Adamaka Chinyere and Bolajoko Haruna, have been arrested and their tinted Toyota Camry impounded. They are to be arraigned in Court after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.”
“Meanwhile, the student has been reunited with her family.”
The suspects risk several years of imprisonment for the alleged offence under the Criminal Laws of the State but that will be after the conclusion of investigation by the Police.
