Int’l Women’s Day: Siju Iluyomade Calls For Determination To Inspire, Empower Each Other

This year, in 2024, the theme for International Women’s Day is ‘Inspire Inclusion’, which emphasises the importance of inspiring women to be included, fostering a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

That is exactly what Dr Siju Iluyomade of Arise Women Foundation is known for. The delectable amazon, in the last 15years has champion the course of Women and the poor in the society, giving them reasons to be proud of themselves and live.

In her word ” When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. Collectively, let’s forge a more inclusive world for women”

A reputable Lawyer of over 30 years experience, Dr Siju as she’s fondly called has led thousands of Women across the Country and beyond who are members of Arise to Inspire other Women.

While encouraging Women in the spirit of this year’s edition of International Women’s, Dr Siju said ” Women must be determined to exemplified attributes that inspires inclusion in what ever they are doing, by this, it will be a win win for collectively”

Dr Siju who is also the founder of Handmaidens Women in Leadership Series (WiLs) has consistently host Arise Women Conference in the past 15 years with notable and inspiring Women across the globe coming together, encourage others and forming a common front in a very effervescent atmosphere.

The event has also empowered over 100,000 women in the last 10 years in various Skills Acquisitions programmes, built hospital for free baby delivery, built Schools and computer centres in Dafara a remote parts of Abuja suburb, built Boreholes and so many other interventions.

Arise Women is now synonymous to food basket popularly called “Arise Pink Bucket” through which various foods like rice, beans, groundnut oil, tomato paste among others are shared to underprivileged individuals in many parts of the country.
