Spiritualists Swindle Man Over ‘Bad Spirits’ On His Money

A man, Afolabi Akande has been swindled after he approached two fake spiritualists, presented N35,000 and pleaded with them to cast out bad spirits on the money so that he can spend the money.

The incident happened at Gudugba Street in Iju Ishaga area of Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the two spiritualists, Sulaimon Abiodun and Shola Ojo collected the money, prayed and later informed Akande that he will not be able to spend the money because of the multitude of bad spirits on the money.

They told Akande to forget the money and go back to his house because if he collects the money he will die because he cannot withstand the number of bad spirits that will attack him. It was gathered that Akande later realised himself and went back to request for the money but he was walked out and they threatened to deal with him spiritually.

He went to the police station in the area and reported that the suspects conspired and stole his money. They were arrested and charged before Ogba Magistrates court for the alleged offence.

They pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. G.O. Anifowoshe granted them bail in the sum of N30,000 each with one surety in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
The matter was. Adjourned til 23 November, 2017.
