The values of a man forms his pedigree and the ruin of a man, is his addiction to what is evil. When this addiction becomes his calamity, it brings destruction upon him .

Senator Ita Enang’s malevolent maligning of Governor Udom Emmanuel   is  a war against the dignity of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, who has superlatively performed and earned the admiration of  all Akwa Ibom people. Senator Enang is therefore embarking on a fruitless effort  .

How can a man who received over  1 billion Naria  from the Federal Government to construct a Dam in Ididep community where he comes from, but abandoned the project, which has caused hundreds of people to die from the flood water emanating from the uncompleted Dam , and he is without shame or conscience, questioning the integrity of the most performing Governor in Nigeria ?

In the eight years of  Ita Enang’s stay  in the House of Representatives, he received four billion naira annually for constituency projects but he never used the money for such purposes . In his first tenure in the lower chamber, he constructed a water project that was never worth 1 million Naira in the same Ididep community from the 16 billion Naira he received. Till today that   project is moribund .

In his second term in the House of Representatives , Senator Ita Enang from the sixteen billion he received for the period of four years went back to the same community and constructed another water project right beside the one he previously abandoned. Till today, that project also   has not been utilized by the community because it was  not duly completed.

How can you a man with such a dismal record of fraudulent antecedents   talk about integrity with Governor Udom Emmanuel who promised to  connect the hinterlands with urban centers to fasten the industrialization process in the State and also provide, through good road networks, better market for the State Rural farmers to sell their farm produce at a higher price .

Governor Udom Emmanuel has  constructed   well over  1202 kilometers of Road with 37 bridges ,72 Roads across the State ,when other States cannot even pay salaries . Governor Udom Emmanuel promised to industrialize Akwa Ibom State and  today  three factories have been  completed , they are, Metering Solution Company , Jubilee Syringe , Tooth Pick and Pencil factory ,while he has also revived  the hitherto moribund Peacock Paint factory in Ikot Ekan –Etinan .

Apart from partnering the private sector to build industries ,He also   ensured the industries don’t fold up because of the high cost of buying power to feed the  factory .

Governor Udom Emmanuel has built three power sub  switch Stations to help in the evacuation and distribution energy  to end users .

These substation are built in strategic areas , The first substation is built at  Edet Akpan Avenue in Uyo to evacuate  energy to the three major housing Estates in State capital ,  Ewet Housing  / Ewet Housing Extension , shelter Afrique  and Osongama Estate .

Apart from providing energy to this areas , the Substation also  distributes  electricity to Nwaniba Road and environs , Oron Road and Environs ,Edet Akpan Avenue and environs etc.

Governor Udom Emmanuel has also constructed  power Station in Ekim in Mpat Enin to evacuate power from the Ibom power plant and distribute to the industrial hubs  in  the State , namely  Ikot Abasi, Eket , Ibeno , Onna and Mbo .

In a bid to actualize the MRO unit in Ibom International Airport, Governor Udom Emmanuel apart from constructing another Runway and taxiway has constructed another substation near the Airport to evacuate power and distribute to both the MRO and the Airport.

The substation is also supplying power to following communities,  Uruan, Ibesikpo , Okobo ,and part of Uyo . Let me  pause here on his achievements, for one cannot in one article count all the superb developmental projects of Gov Udom Emmanuel’s administration.

Ita  Enang’s flippancy can be compared to that of a prostitute , and just as almost every prostitute always end in self-inflicted calamity his will not be an exception .

My salient questions for Ita Enang

The Government of APC that you are part of promised to make one dollar equal one naira, what happened in almost three years? Your Government flagged-off Ogoni Clean up, till date nothing has been done?  Your Government promised to complete the Second Niger Bridge and said they have released 2 million dollars for the project.  So far , what happened to that Project ?

Your government said it has released funds for the construction of Calabar – Itu with a spur to your village, it is almost three years and  no equipment is seen on site. What happened?

You said President Buhari is responsible for the prompt payment of salaries and development in Akwa Ibom State , what happened to Osun, Imo , Kogi, Ogun,Edo Benue etc  and these  are APC States , some of them are owing well over 12 months salaries , is our amiable President not also their President ?

Why has he refused to enable them at least pay workers since they cannot embark on any developmental project?  It Is very pathetic to hear a man who is supposed to be a noble son of Akwa Ibom speak like a common tout at the motor Park .

Mr Ita Enang, do you know it takes a leader with high skills of financial management to manage the little resources in  the State, in this recession the  APC Government  has brought upon Nigeria and Nigerians  ,pay salaries and also embark  on  Projects .

Running your mouth as a broken tap will not destroy the image of Governor Udom Emmanuel , because the signature of his superior performance  are everywhere  and these have made the entire people in the State to sing his praises.

From infrastructural development ,Healthcare ,Education ,Power generation ,Industrialization  and Agriculture ,Governor Udom Emmanuel’s  performance are outstanding beyond any form of childish blackmails or obstruction from the murky water of politics .

Governor Udom Emmanuel is transparent, accountable , truthful  and above all God fearing. He does not play politics with Projects but executes them to bring development to all sections of the State without any iota of corruption and marginalization of any part.
