Idemili South APGA Candidate, Hon. Obi, Deputy Chairman, Hon. Anakuba & Councillorship Candidates Receives Royal Blessing

The Chairmanship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA), in Idemili South Local Government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi (Iyom Ife-Abata), alongside her Deputy, Hon. Ifeanyi Anakuba, councillorship candidates in Nnobi wards, APGA stakeholders and Iyom Ife-Abata campaign team were at the Place of His Royal Highness, Igwe Engr. Nick Obi to seek royal blessing as they begins their campaign at Nnobi for the forthcoming council polls.

 

In his speech, the Idemili South local government APGA Chairman, Chief Kizito Anoliefo, while introducing the APGA Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Amaka Obi, her deputy, Hon. Anakuba, councillorship candidates, stakeholders and members of Iyom Ife-Abata campaign team said, they were at his Place to seek his blessing and fatherly advice as they begins their campaign in Nnobi.

 

He informed the traditional ruler that the Chairmanship candidate, the Deputy candidate and councillorship candidates are people of impeccable character, good pedigree and competence who have added value to the council area, the state and nation at large.

He used the medium to appreciate the APGA Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Amaka Obi for the choice of her Deputy, who is from Ojoto community.

In her speech, Hon. Obi commended the Royal Father and the cabinets members for their efforts towards the development of the community and Anambra State. She assured them of more infrastructural projects in Nnobi and Idemili South.

In his welcome speech, the Special Adviser to Governor on Youth Development, Hon. Dr. Nelson Omenugha lauded the campaign team for their commitment towards the development of Idemili South. He said, Nnobi are very lucky that the campaign started in their community.

In his response, His Royal Highness, Igwe(Engr) Nick Obi flanked by members of the Traditional council appreciated them for the visit and urged them to go about their campaign without bitterness.

The Royal Father admonished them to prioritize the needs of the people and attracts more developments to the council area when elected into their respective offices to represent the people. He prayed for them and wished them the best.
