The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has made a clean sweep in the September 28th Local Government elections in Anambra State, winning all positions. This is a significant victory for the party, showing that APGA is at its strongest state in Anambra.

While other parties were in disarray and none could field Candidates for up to 50% of the positions, APGA is the only party that fielded 100% of candidates for all positions, and campaigned as if its survival depended upon the election.

Seeing the massive grassroots force of APGA, several parties/candidates developed cold feet and even stopped campaigning. The party’s success demonstrates the strong support of the Anambra electorates, reaffirming their pact with APGA.

The election outcome is a testament to APGA’s strength at the grassroots level, with the party’s candidates emerging victorious in all 21 local government areas and 326 wards. This win is crucial for APGA, as it solidifies its control over local governance and ensures that the party’s development agenda is implemented across the state.

It’s worth noting that APGA’s victory at the polls speaks eloquently to the party’s dominance in Anambra State. That it secured a landslide win underscores its resilience and appeal to the Anambra people.

Key Takeaways from this victory are as follows;

— APGA Wins All Positions: The party secured victories in all local government areas and wards.
— Grassroots Support: APGA’s success demonstrates strong support from the Anambra electorates.
