A 29-year old suspected notorious kidnapper, Phillips Ogunnaike, has confessed that he had killed three kidnapped victims over unpaid ransoms and took the Police to the locations where he buried them in shallow graves inside the bush in Ogun State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Police have as well confirmed that he actually took them to the three locations, where the remains of his victims were exhumed from the bushes in different parts of Ogun Central Senatorial District.

The identity of the victims exhumed were not yet known but the serial killer, Philips Ogunnaike, who claimed to be a member of Aye Confraternity, confessed that he lured his victims to isolated bushes, collected their phones to demand ransom before eventually killing and burying them.

This was also confirmed by the State Commissioner of Police, Mr  Abiodun Alamutu, who led the team of Police detectives to exhume the bodies at Itori, in Ewekoro Local Government Area, as well as Asero and Mile 6 communities in Abeokuta South Local Government.

The Police boss maintained that the suspect had been responsible for cases of missing persons within and outside the state capital and have made startling revelations about kidnapping activities in the State.

CP Alamutu, who vowed that the suspect would be charged to court to face the consequences of his heinous activities, also reiterated that the Command is poised to combat kidnapping and other criminal activities across the state, while urging the people to always be security conscious.

Residents of the different communities all expressed shock and sadness over the discovery of graves containing the bodies of persons hitherto declared missing. They demanded for justice and further investigations to apprehend all those involved in the crime.

The suspect will likely be charged for the alleged kidnapping and murder under the Criminal Laws of the State but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
