The Group CEO of WAKANOW and founder of Wave Beach and Dundu Nation, Mr. Bayo Adedeji, has praised the Elegushi family for believing in his dream of establishing a successful relaxation and entertainment center within their domain in Ikate Elegushi, Lagos.
Adedeji, in a recent chat, said it’s the support the entire family, particularly the Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla 11, gave him that has made his hospitality businesses in the plush coastal community to thrive.
Adedeji, popularly called Bayo Lion and known for his business acumen and marketing ingenuity, owns Wave Beach, Wave Beach House, Wave Beach Children’s Park, The Athena, and Wave Beach Hall, all located on the vast Elegushi Beach.
He said it was Baba Eletu Elegushi who first took him to the land on Elegushi Beach and encouraged him to start ‘Wave Beach’ since he was already involved in travel and tourism.
The hospitality guru went further to say that the Oba Saheed Elegushi also supported him in every way to make the dream of establishing Wave Beach possible.
“The king supported me in every way, morally and financially, and that is a testament to the vision he had for Elegushi and his belief in entertainment, tourism, and young people. We are here today because he believed, Baba Eletu believed, and many members of the Elegushi family believed in the dream. Now that Elegushi Beach has become the cynosure of all eyes and a center of attraction, the evidence of their belief and support is now there for all to see,” Adedeji said.
It should be recalled that Adedeji, who grows WAKANOW, to become arguably, Nigeria’s biggest travel company, started with Wave Beach, and later founded an upscale aquatic entertainment center in Elbefore following up with the establishment of other venues in the same area.
