55-year old Director of Abraham Seeds School, Ilupeju area of Lagos State, Olaluwoye Abraham, has been arrested and charged for allegedly raping a 37-year old female job seeking lady during an interview in his office.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 16th September, 2024, inside his office at the school premises located at Matarimi Street, Ilupeju area of Lagos.
According to the Police, the victim applied for a teaching job in the school and the director asked her to come to his office, where he will conduct the interview by himself.
When the victim got to his office for the interview, he reportedly locked the door and started fondling the victim’s body including her breasts and private parts. At that point, she became confused and was unable to resist.
The director took advantage of her and eventually had sexual intercourse with the victim in the office without her consent. Having satisfied himself, he allowed her to go without even employing her despite the fact that she came all the way from Onipanu area Lagos for the job interview.
The victim later regained her senses and realized that he had sex with her without even employing her as a school teacher, which was what brought her to there.
The victim went to the Police at Ilupeju Division and reported what happened. The Police moved into action, eventually arrested and transferred him to the Gender Section of the State Command for interrogation over his alleged conduct.
After interrogation,  the Police found him culpable and charged him before the Court for the alleged offence, which attracts several years of imprisonment.

The Court did not take his plea when he was arraigned following a motion moved by the Prosecutor, Inspector John Iberedem, asking the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for legal advice because of the nature of the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenije, ordered his remand in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s advice and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.
