The second edition of the International Conference for Event Ushers (ICEU) was held recently amid pomp in the ancient city of Ibadan in Oyo State southwest Nigeria.

The conference brought together industry professionals, emerging talents, and experts who explored the evolving world of event ushering.

The event centre, Jogor Centre, Harvester Drive, Liberty Road, Ibadan, was a beehive of activities as every participant took home much knowledge and impartation in the world of ushering.

The conference lived up to its theme, “Beyond Ushering,” providing attendees with insightful keynote sessions, engaging panel discussions, interactive mentorship sessions, and powerful networking opportunities.

The Convener of the event, Her Royal Highness (HRH) Olori Rebecca Temitope Oloko, Iwaya, Yaba, Lagos said that the conference equipped ushers with the skills, knowledge, and exposure needed to thrive in today’s dynamic event space.

“From seasoned professionals to aspiring ushers, everyone left inspired, empowered, and ready to take their careers to the next level.

“The goal remains the same – to elevate ushering beyond expectations and set new standards in the industry,” she said.

With the support of over 10 sponsors, including Razzl, Brown Girl Magic, Checkers, and Golden Penny, ICEU 2025 cemented its place as the leading platform for ushering professionals.

Abuja will host the next groundbreaking edition of ICEU, promising even more impactful sessions, thought-provoking discussions, and career-transforming opportunities for event ushers.
