A Site Engineer, Badmos Olatunji Monsor, has been shot dead and 15 other workers injured as suspected armed land grabbers invaded a Lagos State Government – allocated plots of land in the Agidingbi area of Ikeja, Lagos State.

Meanwhile, four workers of the deceased site engineer have been arrested and detained by the Police for interrogation over the alleged murder and attacks.
The Lagos State Government allocated the scene of the attack and murder to WGC, represented by Alhaji Akeem Osuolale in two separate letters from the Lagos State Government with the numbers LASG/LB S0000228005 dated 18th December 2024 and LASG/LB S0000222499 dated October 13 2023.

Residents of the nearby estate quickly reported to the Police at Alausa. But before they arrived, the invaders had escaped after noticing the motionless body of one of the workers.
Four of the workers of the deceased site engineer were arrested by the Police and a gun, reportedly abandoned by the invaders was recovered at the scene.
