Don Media Group Launches 24/7 Broadcasts After Star-Studded Celebration And Test Transmission

A new era in Nigerian radio has officially dawned as Don Media Group kicked off full 24-hour commercial broadcasting on Don FM 103.7 and Ikoro 93.3FM Community Radio, effective Friday August 1, 2025.

The launch followed a successful test transmission period that began on June 27 and was capped off by a spectacular, star-studded concert.

The unveiling ceremony was an unforgettable mega concert headlined by Afrobeats superstar Davido, with electrifying performances from Timaya, Kcee, Peruzzi, Jeriq, Zoro and popular comedians Sabinus and Funnybone.

The event drew a massive crowd and has been hailed as the most talked-about celebration in the region.

Speaking on this milestone, Alozie Alonzo Uzoukwu, Managing Director of Don Media Group, emphasized that the new stations are more than just entertainment outlets, they are powerful tools for community engagement and national development.
