Police List Names Of Victims Killed By Wasiu Akinwande a.k.a Olori Esho During Operations

The Lagos State Command has listed the names of victims alleged to have  been killed by the 44-year old notorious Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho, during his reign as a serial killer in the State. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that it was contained in the charge sheet before the Magistrate Court sitting in Ogba, Lagos, as was presented by the prosecutor, CSP. Charles Akinrosoye, from the office of the Legal Department of the SCID, Yaba Lagos.
The charges read:
“That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho ‘m’ and others now at large, on the 31st day of July 2024, at No.11, Mosalashi Street. Mushin, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire among yourselves to commit felony to wit: Murder and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 233 of the Law, Ch., C17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”
COUNT II: “That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho ‘m’ and others now at large, on the same date, time and place, in the aforesaid Magisterial District, did knowingly killed one Yusuf Bolakale aged 30years and Yusuf Ramadan ‘m’ aged 23years by shooting them with AK 47, which was in your posession and absconded to Alagbado area of Lagos, where you were arrested and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 223 of the Law, Ch., C17, Vol.3, Laws of State, 2015.”
COUNT III:”That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho ‘m’ and now at large, 9th day of December 2010 at No. 14, Tiamiyu Fadeyi – Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did knowingly kill Aminat Lateef ‘f aged 10years (now deceased) by shooting with AK47 rifle in your possession, while on an errand, and absconded to an unknown destination/Alagbado area of Lagos State, where you were tracked/arrested and thereby committed in offence contrary to and punishable under Section 223 of the Law. th., C17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”
COUNT IV:”That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho ‘m’ and others now at large, on or before the 31st day of July, 2024, at Idi-araba area of Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did knowingly unlawfully kill Ayinla ‘m’ surname unknown, Ojaja ‘m’ surname known and three other unknown persons (now deceased) by shooting them directly during a clash between your faction (known as lawful society) with the AK 47 rifles in your possession and thereafter absconded to Alagbado area, where you were tracked/arrested and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 223 of Law, Ch., C17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”
COUNT V:”That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho ‘m’ and others now at large, on the 31st day of July 2024, at No. 11, Mosalashi street, Mushin, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did unlawfully have in your possession AK47 assault rifle with breach No. AR72739, AK 47 rifle with breach Nos. 0275 & 5688, Two locally made double barrel pistol, 70rounds of 5.56 live ammunition, 27 round of n live ammunition, 57 cartridges, Three walkie talkies and One onous dagger, which you use for your unlawful activities in the society and you could not give a satisfactory account of how they got into your possession and thereby committed an offence contrary and punishable under Section 27(1)(a)(b)(ii) of the Firearm Act of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 (as amended).”
COUNT VI:”That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olari Esho ‘m’ and others now at large, on the 17th day of February 2011, at Awoniyl Street, Idi-Araba, Mushin Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did attempt to kill one Awawu Ajalara ‘f aged 58years by shooting at both legs with AK47 rifle in your possession and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 10(a) of the Law. Ch., C17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”
COUNT VII: “That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho ‘m’ and others now at large, on the same date, time and place, in the presaid Magisterial District, did unlawfully cause grievous harm to one Awawu Ajalara ‘f aged 58years by shooting at her both legs with 47 rifle in your possession, which caused her permanent disability thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 245 of the Law, Ch., C17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”
“That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori 10 ‘m’ and others now at large, on the 5th day of April 2025, at about 1.30am at No. 4, Gbadamosi Close, Surulere Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did threaten one Mohammed Ali ‘m’ by tying him with a rope, demanding the whereabouts of his boss, after invading the residence and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 562(1)(a) (2) of the Law, Ch., C17, Vol.3. of Lagos State, 2015.”
“That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho ‘m’ and others now at large, between 2009 to 2025, at Mushin Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did go armed in public as to cause fear and apprehension to the people of the community of Mushin and its environs without any lawful authority in such a manner as to cause terror to the said community and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 51 of the Criminal Law, Ch C17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”
“That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho m’ and others now at large, sometimes between year 2009 and 2022, within the Lagos Magisterial District, did knowingly and unlawfully armed with firearms and other dangerous weapons invaded and unlawfully grabbed victims landed properties, disposed off same and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 2 of the Lagos State Property Protection Law, 2016.”
“That you, Wasiu Akinwande, alias Olori Esho ‘m’, on the day of July 2024, at No. 11, Mosalashi Street, Mushin, Lagos, in Lagos Magisterial District, did have in your possession the following international passports reasonably suspected to have been stolen: (1) Ganiyu Falilat Blessing, a national of Nigeria, (2) Alade Iru, a national of Nigeria (3) Pichama Betrran Mbeghe, a national of publica Da Guine Bissau (4) Jubsia Aruna Damaris, a national of publica Da Guine (5) Agbo Lucia Eta, a national of Republica Da ne (6) Yougouda Aissatou, a national of Republica Da Guine (7) chit Victory Muyang, a national of Republque Du Cameroun (8) Dr. shood Oladipo Haroona, national of Nigeria (9) Marcel Nguty la, a national of Republica Da Guine (10) Ojo Odunayo Idowu, a National  of Nigeria (11) Akinwande Wasiu Olufemi, a national of Nigeria (12) Haroona Ladi O.M., a national of Nigeria (13) Aristide Nyuyki, a national of Republica Da Guine, and when arrested by the Police you were unable to give an account to the satisfaction of the Police as to how you came by the various International Passports found in your possession and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 329 of the Criminal Law, Ch., C17. Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.”
The defendant has been ordered remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, by the presiding Chief Magistrate, Mrs. O. Kusanu, who directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP for legal advice, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
