Nigerian/Italian singer-songwriter Felizno has achieved a major international milestone.

The music star’s latest single ‘Gbim’ now holds the Number 1 spot on the Spotify Top 50 — Luxembourg chart, according to the latest streaming data –Kworb.net.

‘Gbim’ garnered 15,528 streams in Luxembourg on its chart debut day, vaulting past global superstars and regional favorites to claim the top ranking.

This marks a significant breakthrough for the artist, whose music has now resonated well beyond Nigeria’s borders.

“I am deeply honored and excited that Gbim has reached listeners in Luxembourg in such a big way,” Felizno said. “This shows the power of music to cross cultures and connect people. I’m really thanking my fans, my team, and Spotify listeners for making this possible.”

Felizno’s track overtook major international acts, including Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia,” which held the number 2 position with 6,979 streams.

This achievement underscores the growing international appeal of Felizno’s sound, blending Afrobeat rhythms with contemporary pop influences.

Music industry watchers say this is further evidence of African artists’ rising influence on global streaming charts.

Hailing from Edo State in Nigeria, Felizno is an emerging artist known for his infectious melodies, passionate songwriting, and ability to fuse traditional African sonics with modern production.

With this new landmark, he joins a select group of African talents making major inroads into European streaming markets.
