Sanwo-Olu, Ambode, Others To Attend APC Stakeholders’ Forum Today
In what promises to be another defining moment in the political landscape of Lagos State, two prominent figures — the incumbent Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and former Governor Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode — are set to attend the Lagos State APC Stakeholders’ Forum taking place today.
This forum, which is expected to attract GAC Members, party leaders, elders, and grassroots representatives across the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 LCDAs, is seen as a major step toward strengthening unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in Lagos State.
Observers note that the attendance of both Sanwo-Olu and Ambode at the same political event signals towards strengthening reelection of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR in 2027 and renewed commitment to the progress of the ruling party in the state. Political analysts believe this development could help consolidate APC’s internal structure ahead of future elections and further sustain Lagos as a model of continuity and stability in governance.
Since 1999, Lagos APC (formerly Alliance for Democracy and Action Congress of Nigeria) has maintained a legacy of progressive leadership, with successive administrations building on one another’s achievements. The forum is, therefore, expected to serve as a platform to review party affairs, deliberate on governance strategies, and chart a collective course for the state’s political future. Hosted by Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, Lagos State APC Chairman.
Party loyalists and stakeholders have expressed excitement about today’s gathering, describing it as a reflection of inclusiveness, maturity, and renewed energy within the Lagos APC family.
As the event unfolds, Lagosians and political observers across Nigeria are watching closely — anticipating a moment that may redefine alliances, bridge old divides, and reinforce the unity of purpose that has kept Lagos at the forefront of Nigeria’s democratic governance.
