Igbokwe Family Announces Funeral Arrangements for Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe

The Igbokwe family, in partnership with Don Media Group, formally announces the passing of their revered matriarch, Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe, who transitioned peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 60 after a brief illness.

Dame Peace Igbokwe was a woman of uncommon strength, dignity, and compassion.

Her leadership and vision shaped countless lives and strengthened institutions across media, entertainment, and community development.

As Chief Executive Officer of Don Media Group and 2Flame Entertainment, she played a defining role in building both organizations into respected brands guided by integrity and purpose.

She was also the devoted mother of Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), respected business leader, philanthropist, and Chairman of Don Media Group.

“Dame Peace lived a life anchored in generosity, humility, and service,” said Mayor Lucky Igbokwe. “Her light touched families, communities, and organizations. We honor her legacy, and we welcome everyone whose lives she impacted to join us in celebrating her remarkable journey.”

The public is invited to join the family in paying tribute during the following funeral ceremonies:

Service of Songs: January 9, 2026
Burial Ceremony: January 10, 2026
Thanksgiving Service: January 11, 2026

Details on venues and official timings will be released in the days ahead.

The Igbokwe family extends heartfelt appreciation for the prayers, condolences, and support received since her passing.
